Providing relief to thousands of pharmaceutical students who have completed or are pursuing Masters in Science (pharma) from seven National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPERs) in the country, the Ministry of Chemicals And Fertilizers has decided to include the M.Sc. course in its list of recognzied certificates.
This was decided during a meeting held in New Delhi between the Pharmaceutical Council of India (PCI) and the ministry.
The previous week saw students go through some tense moments over the status of their MSc degree. PCI had been mulling over considering the degree invalid for teaching in colleges or universities.
